Space Travel
In prehistoric times people couldn't imagine, that there is another world beyond the Sun, the Moon, and stars. But as we are surrounded in advanced technological society, we have discovered various revolutionary achievements, more particularly space travel. There were two attempts that radically changed the history. The first one was Russian astronaut Yuri Gagarin's human spaceflight in 1961. With Vostok 1, he completed a single orbit around the Earth. The flight took 108 minutes from launch to landing. The second was American astronaut Neil Armstrong's spaceflight to the Moon. Neil with Buzz Aldrin and Apollo 11, landed on Moon on July 21, 1969. The mission lasted 8 days and 3 hours. Neil Armstrong became the first man on the Moon. The crew collected 21.5kg of lunar material to bring back to Earth.
