Armenian-Norwegian partnership

Today I was a part of something important for our school. In our Art School, our teachers, as well as the headmaster of our school and I had to meet and present our Art, Middle and High Schools to our Norwegian colleagues. They came to Armenia for a collaborative educational project and even gave us a gift for our Educational Complex. They were from a small town called Kragerø. The central parts of it make up a well-preserved building environment situated on the mainland on a steep slope towards the fjord, with crooked streets and old houses. It is also a very popular small tourist town, and it has very beautiful coasts. They were all teachers of different subjects, and even one of them had ancestors from Mush. We started our tour from Art School, showed them the rooms where we paint pictures, made sculptures and talked with them about our Armenian-Norwegian project. We also showed them our kindergarten and secondary school, told them about our school system, how it works, how we begin our mornings and classes. We questioned them about their school system, what they think about Armenia and our school, etc. Our trip continued to Main School where they watched our folk dances called “Parpuri” and “The Fisherman from Van.” We also showed them our Robotic lab, where our creative students make robots and stuff like that. Then we discussed our further cooperation projects. I hope that this cooperation will be successful.
