An interesting thing that happened in my childhood

Childhood is one of the most important things in our lives because every single event that occurs in our lives had a significant impact on our future development. Not only my childhood, but my entire life is filled with embarrassment and funny stories. To be honest, I don't remember my childhood memories that well, but there is one story that always puts a smile on my face. It was the summer of 2011. My family and I went to my grandfather's house. It was a hot summer day, so we decided to buy some cold and refreshing food to eat. My mother sent me to buy some ice cream for all of us and gave me the money for it. I went to the shop, bought it and came back home. But when I came back my granddad was asleep. My mother told me to give the ice cream to my grandfather. So I did what my mother said: I went to his room to give it to him. But what I didn't know was that he was asleep. So I tried to wake him up, and he wasn't quite awake and told me to put it somewhere in the room. As there wasn't enough free space on the table and I was a kid, I thought he was actually awake, so I put it on his belly so he could eat it. But as I mentioned earlier I was only a child and wasn't fully aware what was happening. It turns out later when I checked on him, and I saw that the whole ice cream had melted on his tummy.I called out my mum and my sister, and they all laughed with me when they saw what has happened.I woke him up and cleaned the mess that I created, and we all laughed about it. Later I found out that he actually was talking in his sleep, so he wasn't awake. It's a funny story that we all laugh about.
